Ursuline College Accelerated Program

Ursuline College Accelerated Program

At Ursuline, graduates leave with more than a diploma; they’ve been prepared to change the world. Through one-on-one attention, access to world-class internship and clinical sites, and an intentional focus on women’s education, Ursuline is helping develop tomorrow’s leaders.

At Catholic college like Ursuline, students participate in more community service than those at other types of institutions making graduates more likely to report developing skills for ethical decision-making. Ursuline’s commitment to helping students define their values is paramount; Arrows earn free credit for community service, participate in annual volunteer day, and give back through campus organizations like Up ‘Til Dawn and the Sister Dorothy Kazel Club for Systematic Change. While less than 50% of Ursuline students identify as Catholic, all students are encouraged to contemplate their own spirituality, promote social justice, and speak up for others who are not empowered to speak for themselves. Employers increasingly define “integrity” as one of the top qualities sought in new hires. An Ursuline education develops it.

My UCAP education equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully lay hold to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; and it is a UCAP education that is relevant to meet and exceed the requirements and expectations of the paralegal in today’s work force.  Being a successful graduate of UCAP is an honor, and the privilege to learn under the professorship of local community leaders, advocates, paralegals, attorneys, and judges, who spend countless hours sharing and teaching UCAP students about the fields in which actually maintain employment, is a priceless asset benefited by UCAP paralegals that far exceed the anticipated arrival of graduation day!  The UCAP legal studies program prepares the paralegal and/or future paralegal with legal knowledge, skills and abilities that are transferable to any career within any area of employment – and there are no comparisons.  I am UCAP!
