Favorite place on campus: The labyrinth.

What is one piece of advice you have for students thinking of returning to college after many years?: There is no shame in coming back to college to finish what you started. Don’t dwell on what you should have done when you tried the first time around.

Favorite book from childhood: Mr. Pine’s Purple House.

Favorite place on campus: I enjoy the outdoor areas on the campus.

How can students make the most of their campus visits?: Ask questions and interact with student guides when you visit. The student tour guides are there to help you and answer your questions about Ursuline, campus life and their educational experience.

Favorite thing to do in Cleveland: My family loves to cheer on the Cavs!

Best part of your job: Feeling the excitement of future students when they are attending an event on campus!

Favorite place on campus: Oddly specific…the top of the stairs as you are leaving the quad. At dusk, the view of Lake Elissa and the setting sun is just stunning!

What would you say to a student that isn’t sure if Ursuline is the right place for them?: Talk to your counselor! We are here to help. We want to answer all your questions so that you can make an informed decision.

Favorite thing to do in Cleveland: Eat! Especially at all the festivals and events around town.

Favorite place on campus: The Pilla Atrium. I love the high ceiling and wood beams. I love that the stained glass is SO Ursuline (it was design by Sr. Diane Therese, one of our talented Art professors).

What would you say to a student that isn’t sure if Ursuline is the right place for them?: I would ask you why, and then get you all the information you need to make you sure-one way or another-if Ursuline is a match.

Favorite thing to do in Cleveland: Eat! Some of my favorite places are the West Side Market, Mitchells, South Side, and Paladar.

What is one piece of advice you have for students as they start their college search?: Keep an open mind and don’t eliminate a school from your search solely based on the cost of tuition.

Favorite ice cream: There are too many flavors to just pick one!

What is one piece of advice you have for students as they start their college search?: After every campus visit, make a pros and cons list so that you are able to compare later.

One fun fact about me: I was born in the Big Apple, New York City, after my parent immigrated from the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic!

How can students make the most of their campus visits?: There is no dumb question, ask them all!

Favorite thing to do in Cleveland: I have many favorite things, it’s hard to choose just one! However, the Metro Parks and Lake Erie beaches are a great place to explore!

One piece of advice for prospective students: Don’t rush through your master’s degree! Take your time and enjoy the process. You’ll look back and think, “I did it!”

What advice would you give to a student new to the financial aid process?: Complete the financial aid process early, including looking for outside scholarships. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions. We are here to help you through the process.

Best gift you ever received: My son recently purchased a beautiful Michael Kors purse for me, for no reason!

Favorite thing to do in Cleveland: Whether you like indoor or outdoor activities, there is always something fun to do in Cleveland!

One fun fact about me: I enjoy traveling and have visited Jamaica and Scotland. Next year I will be adding South Korea to my travel bucket list!
