The Bachelor of Arts in Accounting will prepare you for an entry level position in accounting. This path is perfect for you if you’re thinking of working in business, government, public, private, or not-for-profit accounting. Regardless of industry, you’ll provide financial information to managers, clients, investor, and other stakeholders to make business decisions. Some career options include:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Managerial Accountant
  • Internal Auditor
  • Government Analyst
  • Financial Planner
  • Bank or trust officer
  • Forensic Accountant

To take the Ohio Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam, you’ll need to earn 150 hours of college-level credit. After earning your BA (128 credits), you have two options for the remaining 22 hours:

  1. Take additional undergraduate coursework, approved by your academic advisor, or
  2. Earn this credit at the graduate level as you work toward your MBA.

Ursuline offers a bridge program, accelerating your path to our Socially Conscious MBA by allowing you to take four of your MBA courses (or 1/3 of your entire MBA program) as an undergraduate student, with those classes counting toward requirements for both degrees!
