3+3 Partnership with Cleveland Marshall College of Law

3+3 Partnership with Cleveland Marshall College of Law

Why wait seven years to become a lawyer? Come to Ursuline, and you can do it all in six.

Ursuline and Cleveland Marshall College of Law have established a 3+3 Program through which you will complete three years of study at Ursuline, followed by three years at the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. You’ll earn your bachelor’s degree after your first year of law school. Earning your JD in six years rather than the traditional seven means you’ll launch your legal career sooner, providing you with a faster return on investment.

A seat in your JD program, saved just for you:

The Cleveland Marshall College of Law will accept all candidates from Ursuline who, by the end of their third year, apply for admission, complete all undergraduate major requirements and:

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.45
  • Earn an LSAT score in the 60th percentile or higher.

To prepare you for this transition, you’ll take advantage of Ursuline’s outstanding Pre-Law program and:

  • Enter and succeed in law school, and go on to become a competent and ethical attorney.
  • Build the analytical, oral, and written communication skills necessary to be successful in law school and beyond.
  • Take several LSAT-prep exams as you approach the law school admission process and be ready to succeed on the test.
  • Attend networking nights to meet leaders in the field, thanks to our strong ties to the Cleveland legal community.
